The Millennium Lodge of Charity in East Kent No.9730 was founded with the Aims of:
• Establishing a specialist forum.
• Promoting the role of Almoners and Charity Stewards.
• Providing personal development opportunities.
The lodge was specifically constituted with the Objectives of:
• Being an association of lodge Almoners and Charity Stewards.
• Support the identification and selection of brethren with the skills and abilities to perform those offices.
• Create a forum to discuss topics of particular interest.
• To receive talks from and engage with speakers from Masonic and other Charities.
• To learn of State benefits and other assistance available to our petitioners.
• Listen directly to the Provincial Almoner and Provincial Charity Steward.
• Share challenges and difficulties and their solutions with peers.
All within a framework of enjoying the experience and the pleasant companionship of like-minded brethren.
