During the masonic year (Oct 2009 - Oct 2010) W.Bro Malcolm Underwood (with other lodge members) organised the following events ... 

We had three fund raising activities across the year, namely the Lodge of Instruction supper in November, the Lodge hosting the Carol Service at the Masonic Centre in December and the Ladies Festival in March.

Throughout the year Christine nominated three local charities with end of year donations as follows:-

Heart of Kent Hospice £470.00
Demelza House £470.00
British Red Cross (Maidstone) £450.00
(Fire Victim Support Scheme)

In addition through Bearsted Chapter we raised an additional
£300.00 towards the British Red Cross (Maidstone) Fire Victim Support Scheme.

 


During the masonic year (Oct 2008 - Oct 2009) W.Bro Paul McKenzie (with other lodge members) organised the following events ... 
Elvis Night ... The Lodge raised £850.00 / Quiz night £250.00
... the money went to charity.

To remember our Armed Forces who have passed to the "Grand Lodge Above" ...

W. Bro Geoffrey Hart and Bro Geoffrey Coomes took an active part in raising money for "The Heart of Kent Hospice".
The Heart of Kent Hospice Bluebell Walk and the Bearsted / Heart of Kent Hospice Street Collection. The first was on the 6th May 2007 and raised £279; the second was on 9th June 2007, and raised £1241.15, a great effort thanks to all who turned up to help ...

The Hospice Support Team Volunteers
Lifelites depends on volunteers to make it work for the children. The IT equipment at each hospice is supported by a team of volunteers so if you have a few hours to spare and would like to find out more about joining the dedicated team of volunteers, contact W. Bro David Smart who is a volunteer for Demelza Hse.
