History of the Fleur de Lis Lodge
Lodge consecrated 19th January, 2006 is the 25th year of existence, the DC this year is one of the founders and the JW was the first initiate of the lodge. There were 19 founders of which 8 are still members. The membership at present 40.

The lodge was formed for freemasons who are or have been engaged in working with and supportive of youth organisations, but as many of the founders were from the scouting movement it is generally known as “the scouting lodge”. Members now, do not need to be former scouts, but we like members who are active in helping youths and youth organisations.

The lodge has it’s own tie with the Fleur de Lis emblem on it and at installation meetings members who are entitled wear their appropriate uniforms.

Charity Work

As well as the common charity and fundraising done by all Craft Lodges, The Fleur de Lis also raise funds and support charities in other ways.

Golf Days
The Current IPM, (2011) Mark Costelloe runs Golf days during the year raising funds for several local charities. Our current WM, Gary Lux, also runs a golf charity day as part of the Ladies Weekend he arranges. This is heavily supported by all the members of the Fleur de Lis and their friends.

See pictures here of the latest golf day at the Weald of Kent Golf course which raised £335 for a local MS Charity.

MTSFC Fishing Charity Support

The Whole of the Fleur de Lis support the work done by the Masonic Trout and Salmon Fishing Charity and their helpers, casters and organisers as this follows the foundation of our lodge supporting youths organisations. We even have a couple of our own members whom are active in helping the charity and supporting the children in "Catching a smile for the day". Many pictures can also be seen about the good work the charity does on their own Facebook page for the MTSFC or their website
